    You can "jump" terminals A and B on your OBD I equipped vehicle. The "check engine light" will then flash a code of "12" (one flash followed by 2 flashes). It will do this 3 times to let you know it's working, then it will flash the codes in numerical order. It flashes EACH code 3 times. For instance, if code 32 comes up (3 flashes followed by 2 flashes, EGR, I believe...)), it will flash code 32 three times before moving onto the next code! Then, once it's gone through all and any codes your vehicle is storing, it will flash the code "12" three more times to let you know it's all through!
