We know some folks that live up in that part of the country. You just never think then when you're driving across a bridge that it could collapse on you!
It's not a straight-shot, but I drive on I-35 in Texas all the time. Who's in charge of upkeep on the highway system? Doesn't the fed give $$ to each state?

at least it wasn't the crescent city connection in New Orleans. If that bridge collapsed.....hundreds would die or be lost at sea. The Mississippi River down here is huge and fast.
