Chipping away one step at a time - Need help with tires/wheels
Hello all,
Well, for much time I was debating on what kind of lift kit to get. I bounced around between Rancho, BDS, and Rough Counrty...Finally made up my mind and went with the BDS 4". Showed up yesterday, now I'm eager to put it on and get my wheels and tires set up.
Running into some complications however:
I'm about 80% Sure I want 305/55/20's...Goodyear Duratrac for tires. Anyone with experience??
For rims, Helo he835 20x9 with a +18 offset. Wil
So really what I'm looking for is...
Will a 20x9" wheel with a +18 offset work with 305/55/20 tires with a 4" lift???
This is on a 2011 Silverado 1500 Ext Cab.
Thanks guys!

Yes it will work. Be ready for some rubbing and the possibility of trimming plastic. I ran essentially the same wheel/tire specs with 5" of lift and had some minor rub in some turning situations. It wasn't bad though, so don't worry. We will be needing pics.

Trimming is easy, tin snips, razor knife, airsaw.
