    Unhappy Transmission issue

    I have a 2006 silverado 5.3 liter sometimes when i go in reverse or forward the rpm just go up the car does not move so i put it in park and go again it works fine any ideas appreciated.

    .....Have you checked the Fluid level and Condition of the Fluid??....and does it do this when the Truck is Hot and/or Cold??
