    Default Duramax Dragracer?

    I have found some pretty impressive videos of people doing quite well at the dragstrip with their 2500HD Silverados. Here is a couple of my favorites...

    Wow, that 11.88 second Duramax was something, it just took off the line like nothing.

    I have thought that the color of Yellow that my truck is was close to some late 60's, early 70's muscle cars. I guess I have a muscle truck

    Those Duramax are something else. My buddy has a 1 ton dually and he can light up the all 4 backs. He races it at our local 1/8mile strip and leaving on the wood in 4 wheel drive (it'll spin if not in 4x4) the thing is quick. I want to say high 9's but dont quote me.

    There is an article in a magazine I have were they put a nitrous system on a duramax and made 1600 ft/lbs of tourque!!!

    A friend of mine brought me down to Baytown Tx.. a few years ago to attend the Diesel Drags, I've been hooked ever since.
    It's great to watch a tow rig go faster than the race car it tows.
