Thread: a/c compressor knock

Check the bracket mounting bolts for the accessory bracket that the compressor sits in.
I was missing a bolt and it caused a lot of vibration when A/C was on, and thus made an awful racket.
Make sure the bolts are in there and tight, and also make sure the bolt heads have not been sheared off.

thanks for that tip, and i will check it this morning before i take it in for the new Delphi compressor. will let you knwo how the new comp sounds when i get it back later today
