I didn't want to start any arguments. It just seems like anytime I post a pict of my truck, I get all kinds of negative comments about the chrome. I just happen to like the stuff and everyone has their own tastes. The area I live in, "If it ain't chromed-Leave it home". Horry County, SC. Home of the Southern Boyz

Man, nobody's arguing. Just differing opinions. People don't like stuff about my truck and suggest I make changes too. It just comes with the territory (forum). If you like it, then leave it.

I said the man's truck looked good, and I also commented on what I thought would make it look better. It's simply my opinion and not a personal attack. No different than the op commenting on NOT being a fan of the all blacked out look.

Well, I suggest the OP to try posting on another site if he didn't like our 'blacked out' opinions, perhaps GMFS, they're real polite over there.

    What's wrong with chrome? :sarcastic:

I had my front end all chrome and at the time I thought it looked good, since then I changed it up and now I like it the way it is now.

The point is there is no right way, it's all about tastes. When you post on the internet you have to expect some negativity, some constructive criticism and hopefully some compliments. Most internet forums are littered with people who just like to criticize, The thing I like about this site is that the bashing is kept to a minimum, although the "other" sites are loaded with great info you have to wade through the negativity. After reading this thread I believe the negative comments were just constructive criticism and not straight out bashing. My Mom always told me "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything" and my Dad always said "if you don't have anything constructive to add to this discussion then shut the F**k up"... words to live by I think. On a side note one of the guys on GMFS said I should colormatch the chrome bar on my grille and it would look better... you can't please everyone!

ive always been a fan of the "To each there own" line of thinking. if you like it, who cares what else other people think. as long as you like it, sure other people might give you crap, but at the same time, the don't own your truck, you do, so tell them to take a hike.
