    Default Valvoline Recycled oil

Have you all seen the new Valvoline Recycled oil for sale now? It is conventional, however they claim it is just as good as new stuff, if not better. I have been running it in my truck which had an oil consumption issue (about 2 quarts per 3K miles) and i have yet to use any oil with nearly 2K miles so far, and it actually looks much cleaner at this milage.
Just wondering if you all have heard about it or used it with either sucess or failure.

That is what i was told when i bought it.. Just kind thought it was interesting. I know that the petrolium side doesnt break down so much. But with everyone wanting to go green these days i thought it was a rather novel idea.. And to top it off it is one of the first things that i have seen where the "green" solution costs less than the conventional product.

It's currently the same price as Valvoline conventional at our store. If I weren't addicted to M1 I would use it no problem.

its $2 less for a 5quart jug up here.. it is less than a 10% savings but money is money, and as i said it is interesting that my truck is no longer using oil like it used to. So i am actually thrilled...
