    Default how to remove factory pin stripping?

    the factory pin stripping on my suburban is getting old and feels rough to the touch,I would like to remove it .How do I get it off without damaging the paint? I cant tell weather it's paint or decal. Please help...Click image for larger version.

    There are a couple of ways to Remove the Factory Stripping, or the Adhesive left after removing the Door Trim, and Factory Badges/Emblems....and that is with a 3M Eraser Wheel, IMO its The Quickest, Easiest and Safest Way to Remove these items, in the "Thread below Reply Number #5 "has a Video, showing how to use the Eraser Wheel, and once done, Wash Down and Clean the area where the Stripping was, and then if need apply Polishing Compound and Coat of Wax if needed.

    Soak them in something like bug and tar remover, and then use an eraser wheel to finish the really tough stuff off
