4.8l cam question
I am looking for a better than stock cam for my daily driver that doesn't require mods to valve train. Just want to swap the cam for more performance. I will get a tune if needed. I found this cam on the thunder racing website (214/220 .600/.523 115 LSA 2) I would like to hear a lope in the exhaust, if not that's fine.
Thanks!2006 silverado 1500 LT1 4X2 ecsb 6.0L, front mount T76 turbo intercooled, Detroit true trac, 3.23, Chevrolet black chrome 20"s, Nelson performance tune! magna flow muffler with dual exhaust with QTP cut out. ET-14.001 @100mph spinning.....

With the 4.8 engine you want a cam that makes power/torque on the bottom end. I would call CompCams or CraneCams tech lines for there recommendation.
