Default brainstorming LT headers, 4wd, and body lift kit

okay, so i have a 95 k1500. the previous owner disconnected the front driveshaft for the LT headers that are on the truck. in addition the truck has 33s and no lift. not much flexing going on. so my thought is buy a 3" body lift (money isn't exactly filling my wallet right now). i believe this should give the LT headers clearance so that I can put the driveshaft back on. I had read on another forum that somebody had a body lift kit and that they had clearnace for LT headers w/o removing their front driveshaft. any thoughts about this?

A bodylift will not change the relationship of the headers and the suspension, a suspension lift may because it'll change angles and offer clearance or suspension components and the fram.
The question is how much clearance and will it be enough to flex the truck out in the rough stuff.

true, i havent taken a look under there because i dont have it yet, but another idea i had was if the crossover pipe was the problem, then just run true duals. ideas on this?

X2, bodylift won't help you. Are you talking about the cross-over pipe hitting the driveshaft. If so just have a muffler shop make a new cross-over that goes over or under the driveshaft.
