play in NV246 output
I was just under the Suburban checking the drivetrain and I'm getting some up and down play in the transfer case rear output. With the wiggle is a "clink" coming from inside the transfer case.
To start: how much (if any) play is allowed in the rear output bearing?
Can the bearing be replaced without rebuilding the entire transfer case?

Decided to get a 2nd opinion. The shop I took it to agreed that the output is getting loose. They said there is a bushing on these that is usually what wears out. They want quite a bit to change it, because they need to split the case to get to it.
