1989 Silverado Photos

Does anyone have a photo of the bed of a 1989 Chevy Silverado regular cab with long bed? I have a bedliner installed and I want to see where the tiedowns are. To make this easy you can send me photos at

Hmm, that's a good question. I'll see if I can scare up some photos myself later on today if no one else comes forward.

Taking off the bedliner is a chore, I know what you mean about not wanting to take it off.

Hi Steve. It seems no one has pictures. I believe the tiedown points are right where the bedliner attaches to the bed with toggle bolts. If this is the case, then the bedliner either needs to come out or it will just lie in there unsecured. I think the tiedowns are the square holes (or in the square holes)at the top edge of the bed? Are they in the vertical side of the bed? I believe if I know the answers to the two questions, I will be all set and will not need photos.

You are the only only one who has responded. I am surprised. I am a member of a Desoto and Fiat web forum also. There is a lot of discussion. The BMW one was not so good so I have not been on it for years, but they have a great tech advisor.

I am just looking for some photos of the tiedown points in the bed. This is easy unless you have a bedliner like I do.

I found all of the tiedown points. They were where I suspected, right under the toggle bolts for the bedliner.I cut out the holes in the bedliner and successfully used the tiedowns to secure my air compressor. Case closed.
