    Default switching engines

I would like to switch my engine on my 94 2wd silverado. It has a 5.7 engine to a 6 or a deisel. I was told it is very costly, like new wiring(and labor cost). then some one told me there is a company that makes an adapter box thats a simple plug in.(does any one know the name of the co.) and what other costs it would be............ thanks

Welcome to the club. i've never heard of a simple plug-in adapter box to convert to deseil. You would need a new fuel system, wiring harness, computer. I would just trade for a deseil.

If you are looking for more mileage, the 6 is not the way to go. I've owned both, the 6 doesn't hardly get any more MPG.

x2 on the diesel idea. If you're going that route, just find a diesel truck and save some money and time.
