    Default 2006 silverado transmisson pan removal

    I was wondering if you guys could tell me how to drop the pan it seems to be stuck on the shift linkage i bolted it back up and put fluid in it because i need it tommarow it (my favorite car of are five lol). But will be working on it sunday because the filter needs changing bad.

    The linkage bracket needs to come off. It takes a #40 torx bit to remove. If your laying on the ground (no lift) its a pain in the as*.

    just unbolt the linkage and push it out of your way, dont forget to rebolt it like i did. put a corvette shift servo on while youre down there!
    2004 Silverado, Base trim, 4.8 V8, 158,000 miles
    -Spectre (cause it was cheap) cold air intake
    -Flowmaster 50 series muffler
    -Self-installed stereo with Sony head unit, Polk Audio speakers, Polk Audio PA1100.5 amp (huge and powerful) and a BOSS 800 watt sub (fitted inside a tiny homemade enclosure behind the passenger seat)
    -vette servo installed in the trans
    -front & center mount after market trans cooler
    -horns from a 1970's cadillac!!!

    I was thinking of doing the vette shift servo is it very hard to install and also where should i pick it up.
