    Default Climate control problem

Awesome forum, so much knowledge to tap. I have an 05 Chevy Silverado 1500. Periodically, my climate system is blowing only heat on just the drivers side. It does not matter if I am running the A/C, just regular vents, or the heater, it just randomally flips to max heat on the drivers side. The passenger side continues to remain at whatever my settings were at, just the drivers side changes. It only corrects by shutting the engine off for about 5 sec, and then on restart it is fine the rest of the trip. Has anyone else had this issue? Please help me.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the advice, but is the door actuator in the door, or is that what it is called in the dash? Thank you.

Have you brought this to the attention of your local dealer? I can also look into this for you with your VIN. Please feel free to keep me posted either way. Thank you in advance.
