I've had a K&N on my '96 'Burb since '97 with no issues. Alot of the CAI companies didn't and still don't make a CAI for these body style trucks with a heatsheild/box for the filter and some don't have a new inlet tube.

I'm not sure about now, but I know back in '97 the Airaids didn't have a heat sheild so they sucked in all the hot engine compartment air. Kinda defeating the purpose of a cold air intake.

What do you consider a crazy deal? I just paid $225 with free shipping on mine... Did I also get a crazy deal, or just a mildly insane deal?!?
    I like you.
