Sounds like she's getting good medical care whereever she is at. I've known people that had heart attacks that go on to live 30 more years.

My mom has been having almost the exact same problems. We've been dealing with it for a while. Her intestines exploded and the doctor didn't do surgery quick enough so some of the infection leaked out into her body causing her thyroid to go crazy. That was 2 years ago. She was retaining water real bad and her legs were swelling up. So we took her in about a year ago and found out that her heart had enlarged. Her heart was only pumping 8% of what it should've been. So she found some really cool and smart doctors, they placed her on the heart donor list, but with medicine and resting her heart is getting better. She went to the hospital a few months ago and they kept her for two weeks. Her heart was beating at almost 200 Beats per minute. One of the doctors that she didn't like prescribed her some medicine and it reacted with another medicine. They finally got it taken care. She went back to her favorite doctor last month and her heart is beating at almost 30% now.

So keep praying for her and make sure her doctors are top notch and doing their job.

Then she started having issues breathing, thinking it was her asthma. She went to the immediate care and they gave her a breathing treatment for her asthma and told her, her swelling was due to ibprofin. I called bs and told her she needed to see someone else. She went to our family doctor 2 days ago and they ran 2 ekg tests on her both came back irregular. They sent her to their hospital for them to test her yesterday and all they did was draw blood. She went back today to get an ekg done and it showed her as having a weak heart muscle and the heart is only pumping out 10% of what it should. She has fluid around her heart and in her right lung. She has blood clots in her lower left side of the heart. As of right now they say its a pretty serious thing and are diagnosing her right now with congestive heart failure. They have transfered her to a heart hospital where they have her in the heart failure section. They are giving her lasik pills for the fluids and it has helped, her swelling has gone down. They are putting her on blood thinners the keep more blood clots from occuring. They are not sure right now what is causing all of it. In the morning they are sending the heart failure specialist team to her to try and figure out what they can do and what is really wrong. I will keep updated when I find anything out. At the moment I don't think they are really going to do anything til probably Monday bacause they want to see if the lasik pills will get rid of the fluids and make her heart strengthen back.
Old thread, how did it all turn out for you? Sorry for the delay.
