ive had mine for 2+ years and still goin strong with the slim ballast, wiring harness, and battery relay
    all for 149.99
believe it or not you can get the regular kit for 99.99 and i bet its just as good
recently my little brother got some from there too!
first,he ordered a cheap brand from that never worked
so i told him this was the way to go and he has had them (bixenon 9007) for a few months now no problems
    my 2 cents

Is the battery relay the one that allows you to run HIDs with factory Day Time Running lights? I've been contemplating converting to HIDs for a while now. Thanks in advance.

9006 should still be the low beam in an 06 and i also purchased my fog light hid bulbs from there too
the battery relay just connects the HIDs directly to the battery so that you dont have to worry about one light not turning on

So I am such a novice at all of this. I love the look of the HID lights but I have a few questions. I am driving a 09 Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab.

    1. If I replace the low beam do I need to replace the high? They are two different bulbs.
    2. If the answer to 1 was yes I assume that 2 complete kits would be needed $198.

Is it worth the extra to get the high beams HID as well?

Thanks for the help and sorry if I hijacked your thread I just saw that it was recently active.

Got vvme's ( 55w highs and lows and love 'em. Had them for awhile now, not sure exactly how long, but they are bright. The ballasts are made by Hella and the bulbs are from Sylvania. Plus, the price is good. Look for them on-sale.

you dont HAVE to replace the high beams if you do the lows. but that is your choice...
most people do not put HID into their high beams solely for the startup time for HIDs
its not good for HIDs to be turned on and off constantly and flashing to pass with high beam HID can burn a ballast out real quick, unless its bixenon in which the bulb just moves in and out for focal purposes which you could do endlessly.
I only have low beam HID in my silverado, but if you lets say do ALOT of off road driving or use your high beams very frequently then why not hook them up too.

if you use your highs alot go for it
if not, dont waste your money, but like i said your choice.
    good luck
