    Default seat belt chime

    Does anyone know how to disable the seat belt chime on an 07 trailblazer SS?

    not sure how to disable it. you can adjust the volume by turning off your radio and hold the number 6 preset button. (factory radio)

    If you go underneath the seat there is either a 2 wire or 3 wire connector that goes to the seat belt latch mounted to the floor. Just disconnect that connector and your good. The switch inside the latch is acually an open while in use switch to tell the car that you have your belt on. If you unplug the connector its like you never take it off, lol. I cant wear a seat belt for medical and personal reasons so i went snooping around one day on MOD at work and found the wiring diagram for it and starting testing wires and came up with the connector. All this is good for my 05 silverado but i wouldnt see why an 07 would be any different. Let me know if it works. Oh and your air bag will still work. Be carefull.
