Default Will putting a new radio in effect your SiriusXM subscription?

The CD changer portion of the radio in my 03 Silverado quit working. I found a used one to replace it with and know about having to take it to the stealer for a programming, etc. What I'm wondering is if it will effect my XM subscription too. Do you have to activate a new radio with them or is all that info stored on the external box behind the glove box?

    Default

It's stored in the XM reciever behind the glove box. I replaced a stock radio with a NAV unit. Didn't have to touch the XM stuff at all, the new radio even picked up on my favorite list without any changes.
