Default What can I expect to pay for intake gasket service at the dealer?

    How much? $1k?

The daughter got her license and has reclaimed her Wrangler. Now I have to drive the Burb.
I know it's not a horrible DIY. I'd rather go Mr Goodwrench.

here in the Midwest dealer is 1K to 1100 depending on all they do>Private garages the better ones are 700-800.This the type of repair that can be done by a good shop outside of the dealer,we do dozens of them a year.Just make sure the shop that does it has an 'engine guy' someone who does the lions share of this type of work.Cheapest isn't always the best on this repair.
