Default Help locating fuse; Power locks

Just bought a used 1999 GMC Suburban 1500. Power locks worked when we bought it from both switches on door. Remote unlock fobs were lost before we bought it so I don't know if they work.

One day the power locks stopped working. There is no noise, no sound of them trying to lock/unlock, nothing.

I have checked for the fuse but cannot seem to locate it. I checked under the hood and in the dash (side panel).

Anyone know what fuse number it is. I check all the obvious ones, but didn't check tail lights, etc type of fuses.

    TIA

I hear there is a relay under the dash. Where at? Driver's side or passenger?

Is the fuse the same as the cigarette lighter?

alright, it was Fuse #13 (power locks) I think it says "Cig lighter" on the cheat sheet.

Does the rear cargo area switch work? I'll check my book when I get home, and post back with fuse/relay locations. Mine haven't worked in so long, I don't think about them much.
There could also be corrosion / gunk in one of the switches, usually the driver side. If I recall, every switch is dependant on the dr side working properly.

    Good luck,

From my 99 OM - inside fuse block - fuse 13 (column 1, row 3, 20A), and circuit breaker A (top left corner, 30A) power the door lock relay. Where the relay is, I don't know. Hope this helps.
