    I get exactly what your sayin man. I'm thinking the problem is the Auto Start or Security systems wiring that could be throwing everything off and the BCM is having issues also. I agree with what you said about it not starting because when i turn my key and the dash comes on it has the gold lock indicating the security system is on and the vehicle is locked when in reality it isn't! I'm guessing from what my buddy told me it's throwing everything off and is either electrical or the Computer or both or 1 or the other is throwing either one off. I hope that this is the only problem since i spent a week before i got it towed and made sure everything was fine. I dont have a code reader is why i couldnt find out and i'm not good with electrical on the truck so odds are this is the problem i have.

    I heard you say you dk why the remote start caused the problem i'm guessing isn't there wiring for the remote start? I'm assuming whatever wire was loose or not acting right at the time threw the auto start off and threw a code that it was programmed with but not permanent. My buddy said the auto start is programmed when you install it and somehow it ends up resetting itself and the computer doesn't realize anything since the code changed ha idk it's pretty weird to me though coo dammnn complicated!

    Sorry for the confusion, yep on an auto start you have all your external wiring that branches out to all your differed circuits. You also have internal wiring in the auto start (tracers on circuit boards) Sometimes you have cold solders on that which could cause some issues. Other times the install looks like it got into a fight with a hand grenade....

    As for the programming, your friend is right, we program all auto starts before they leave the shop (every vehicle is different). BUT there is a second module that needs programmed which work in conjunction with your auto start, it is the module needed to interface with your factory security... Pass lock. That is the module that is more then likely giving you fits if the auto start is indeed the culprit. It also needs programmed and can also lose it's programming and in most cases loses it well before the auto start loses it's programming (which rarely happens but doing things like jump starting a vehicle can cause this).

    Yeah my truck is at the GM dealership getting looked at hopefully today or next few days i will hear back with something that's the problem!
