My '82 burb is having tranny issues ... dumping into low gear.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a tranny shop around here?

And where exactly would around here be?
I know a guy up here in Maine that only works on the older tranies, but then if you are not in Maine.

Your subject line, makes me think you mean Vancouver. Is that correct?

Yes ... Vancouver WA, or Portland, OR.

I had to look it up. I had great experience with a tranny shop up in Kirkland, but that's a long haul for you.

When we had probs with our 96 Tranmission we took it to place in Forrest Groove. He was near the old Chevy Dealership. He did wonders and gave a great warranty. If you are still looking i can look up the shop name and all that jazz.
