    Default Labor Day weekend!

Well, summer is wrapping up and we've got Labor Day here in the US!

What's everyone up to for the weekend?

Hard to believe that Summer came and went so quickly! I guess it's only a three month period and in Texas we have heat for 8 months ... so it's going. Soon enough we'll have the fall season on us with leaves changing colors and shorter days, followed by the holiday season!

No rest for the wicked! Everybody drive safe and play safe.

On that topic, just a reminder if your headed out of town check your rig. Tires (pressure and condition) Check the fluids and battery. Check all your lights and signals. If I hear horror stories after...your gonna get it from me

    Talking Busy, busy, busy....

Dump run completed this morning loaned the trailer to a friend who is moving. Going to help someone rearrange their furniture, then its off to a fish fry in DHS where it should be 114 degrees today! Maybe stop in at the Morongo Casino and the nearby outlet mall on the way back. Sunday I'll set the concrete forms for a project at home. Monday I am the on call tech, so if I don't get called out, I'll pour a little concrete, if I do have to work it is DOUBLE TIME AND A HALF BABY!

We had a nice trip going out to some friends in Mississippi. We left Friday around 8:00 AM and got into Jackson, MS around 4:30ish. Just about 390 miles of driving and it was a very nice drive, we had a good time seeing some friends that we hadn't seen in about 14 months, and then we headed home yesterday. Leaving at noon and getting back in town before 8 PM.
