Default New guy from Northern VA

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm Steve and have been the owner of a 99 GMC Suburban 2500 454 2wd for that last 5 years. I joined the site to help in my quest to tackle fault codes. I've searched some posts on the p0452 & p0453 Evap codes and gained some info.

    a. Seal fuel pump gasket ring with lube
    b. Change pigtail harness on pump
    c. ensure no moisture is inside connector

I have the 4 volume 99 FSM set. I changed the fuel pump out about a year ago along with the pigtail harness supplied. Code never showed up until about 6 months ago. Emissions is due. In the last week I've installed a new gas cap and cleaded codes, no change. Cant shake p0452, comes back on startup.

    I could try:
dropping tank and checking for vacuum leaks on the evap hose.
    check 5v on pressure switch
install another $200 pump assembly (that sucks)

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for looking, Steve
