    Default Special Tool Required?

I am pulling the Front Axels out on my 1990 Suburban 2500.The Nut on the Hub appears to require a special Socket?Someone has damaged this Nut in the Past, thats why I wondered if it needed some kind of Spindle Socket?

I live in Norway,so any special bits for American Cars are not easy to find.Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can use to take the Nut off?

    Many thanks

SHad a whole thing written up for you, then remembered you have a solid front axle. Yes, you do need a very special socket for those. Something like this..

    - OEM Automotive tools - Built by GreatNeck OEM 1/2 Inch Drive Front Wheel Bearing Locknut Socket

Just went out to the garage. Mine is a KD 2467. 60 mm outer diameter. It works, but it doesn't have the nice outer retaining ring.

When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses not zebras.
