Default A little advice on timing a not so typical 91' 454 1 ton Burban'

Im going to have the timing reset on Chub's today and it doesn't have the wire you disconnect. This has been converted to an older 454 and has ceramic headers,Edelbrock intake,Barry Grant Street demon 750 vac sec, true duals and runs just at the 1/4 way for temp.

If i could do it wouldnt be bugging you guys BUT im in a cervical collar and cant.I was thinking 8 before TDc as a starting point..?Any advice on this would be great..

ps i HATE not being able to wrench on my own s**#

If the dizzy has vacuum advance, that needs to be disconnected to set base timing.
When you hear hoofbeats, look for horses not zebras.
