E85 Flex Fuel
Is there a way for me to tell, from the VIN of some other source, whether or not my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado will safely burn E85. I've got the 5.3L motor. Thanks alot!

There is a VIN decoder here on the site, and or else call the dealer but if you dont have E85 stickers then it is unlikely.Mike

Welcome aboard. The easiest way to tell is if your gas cap is yellow. The other way to tell is from the RPO code which you can get on the inside of your glove box.

As said above your gas cap should be yellow and it should have E85 on it.
