Two indications on OBD;
CL, Faulty H025
Sys2, Faulty H025
O2 SDensor Heater
Bank 1 Sensor 2
New to this and don't know what the first indication means. Any thoughts?
Think the problem is the second indication.
Can anyone tell me where the specified O2 sensor is on my 1998 CK 1500 with 5.7L, vortech, overdrive, and power everything?

bank 1 is typically driver's side (side of cylinder 1) and that will be the second o2 sensor which is after the catalytic converter (sensor 1 is before the cat).David

Pat the Following Information will be able to give you some insight as to what a Trouble Code.....P0141 is and/or means,
O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
What does that mean?
This code means that the heated circuit in the oxygen sensor on bank 1 decreases time needed to enter closed loop. As the O2 heater reaches operating temperature, the oxygen sensor responds by switching according to oxygen content of the exhaust surrounding it. The ECM tracks how long it takes for the oxygen sensor to begin switching. It the ECM determines (based on coolant temp) that too much time elapsed before the oxygen sensor began operating properly, it will set P0141.
A Trouble Code P0141......may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
- open or short to ground in the wiring harness
- O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
- O2 heater element resistance is high
- Internal short or open in the heater element
Note: Typically a failed catalytic converter does not cause this code. You're more likely to see a P0420 code for a failed converter.
- Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)
- Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors
Having a 1998" Chevy.....its going to have 4....02 Sensor's......2 before the Cats and 2 after the Cats.....Bank 1 is Located the side of the engine that has the Number #1 Cylinder which for your 98" is on the driver-side....and Sensor 2 after the Cat.
