Mich ltx ms2 tires
Yhooo, greetings all !!!!!!
Heyyyy , I just purchased 4 new Mich LTX MS2 tires......but listen ..... the original size on my 2003 4X4 long bed/reg cab Silverado was 245 75 16....dealer didn't have that size , so I bought 255 70 16.....a hair shorter in height, a hair wider in width.....am I ok ?
BOB THANK YOU.

..Bob.....the change in Tire Size is Very Small, you'll be fine......the 255/70's....Overall Diameter is....30.1ins" and a Section Width of 10in's....and the 245/75's.....Overall Diameter is.....29.5ins"....and a Section Width of.....9.6ins"......So around a 1/2in Difference...... the 255/70's are what Chevy was installing along the with 245/75's back in the day.
Edit.....I'll mentioned that....when the Speedometer reads 60 M.P.H. Actual Speed will be 61.1 M.P.H .....1.8% Faster with the 255/70's.
