    Default Power window diagnosis help

Just last week, my 98 Suburban power windows developed an interesting problem. They will roll up and down fine from the master swich, at the driver's door, but each individual switch at the passenger front, passenger rear, and driver's rear window will not work at the individual switches. Is this likely a problem with the lockout switch? Are these sold separately?

    Thanks for any help.

Sounds like it, and yes I believe so.

Agreed, that sounds like your issue. And yes, the lockout switch is separate from the rest of the driver's window switch assembly.

Last week I had to remount the power box to the inside of the door. Rivets came out and the power lock stopped locking. I was in there anyway to replace the interior door handle.

Might want to check the connections on the old one before you replace it. I've had several things come loose in my drivers door and was just a matter of going in there and cleaning up a few contacts and tightening stuff back down. I must say I was surprised because It's a truck it is very roomy working space inside the door. It wasn't half as bad as I imagined it would be...LOL
