    Nice Progress so far!!

As for lights I would go with a set of slim lights for clearance issues, although I fit a regular set of KC daylighters behind my 05' Silverado grille with no problem. Unless you go with a pencil beam, you will notice how they get washed out with the headlights unless you go HID spotlights. (LIGHTFORCE)

A regular 6" off road light is about as big around as a small cantalope, a slim light is a 1/3 of the thickness and much lighter in weight as well.

Pencil beams are long distance spotting beams which go way out in front of your headlights, some HID versions go up to 2 miles.

The best place to actually see the defferences is Youtube, I watch videos all the time on there. IMO the best lights on the market are Lightforce lights.
I personally use all PIAA because of the nice look and well put together wiring harnesses, BUT If I could afford them I would have lightforce HID's!! ($1,500 each)

Thanks! Thinking of putting some off-road lights behind it...anyone know of any good one's for that?

I put Pro Comp slim off road lights behind my stock grille. I got the idea from a fellow posters thread here http://www.gmtruckclub.com/forum/sho...-NBS-Silverado . As for the lights He and I both used these http://www.procompusa.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=EXP9551&catID=14&subCat=448 &ptID=4242&plID=1849. There is a ton of room between the radiator and the grille, as you know, so you can mount the lights on the hood latch A-frame and be good to go.

Just curious which projector headlights those are. Of the ones I've seen so far those look the best on the new body style silverado.
