Low Pressure Switch question agaqin.
Okay guys and dolls, I have a 1995 Chevy pickup, 5.7 liter V-8. Some of you read my foibles when I changed out a bunch of A/C parts. I had to get a new pigtail to plug into the Low Pressure Switch on the Accumulator. The new pigtail had two white wires, so I had to guess which was which; I cannot get it to work either way I wire it, so I plan to get another Low Pressure Switch. I've jumpered all the wires together and the AC works great; just I have to manually turn it off and on to avoid freeze up.
Okay, question. There are two wires that come from the nether regions of the firewall; a green one and an orange one. If some of you can look at your own, which wire goes into the top of the switch, assuming you are looking at the clip side of the switch/pigtail? the orange or the green?
For the record, I have one of the Canadian built trucks from 1995.
