Default Adding a subwoofer to 2008 Bose system

looking to add an amp and sub to my 2008 sierra with the Bose system.

As I understand it all I'll need is a line out converter to hook into the current Bose sub speaker wire, and my amp will run off that. Everything else will be just like any other sub install. Is this correct?

Anyone have any problems doing this? Advice?

You're correct. Be sure to grab an acc. Trigger for you remote wire but RCAs will plug right in to your SLOC (signal line out converter).
