I bought a 2004 suburban and when ever i open the door to get in I hear "phone not available".I don't see anything in the owners manual and my phone doesn't detect a blue tooth device. any ideas?

Does your truck have On-Star? I had a 2002 Cadillac that had the built in car phone - no blue tooth. Is there anything in your manual about On-Star? You might be able to google it and find out if that is the problem.
