    Default 5 lug to 6 lug conversion

    i was wondering how hard it would be to switch my truck from a 5 lug to a 6 lug any advice is helpful

    Do you have a specific reason why you want to swap to a 6-lug setup? Also, what year, make, model, etc of truck do you have? These pieces of information will greatly help us help you with your question.

    my truck is a 95 chevy 1500 2 wheel drive and i wanna swap to the 6 lug is because i dont have alot of money for aftermarket wheels and there are more ppl selling 6 lug than the chevy 5 on 5 on craigslist

    Rearend should not be bad, as the 4x4's in that body style are 6 lug, as for the front dont' know could just be a rotor swap, but I am really not sure. I am knda thinking the opposite I wish I had 5 lug, cause I love the new Vette wheels, and Camaro wheels. I had looked into doing a swap from 6 to 5 when I had my Colorado, and it was not going to be easy, at the time I was wanting to run a set of Billet Specialties, in 17x 7 for fronts, and 17x10 for back and the style I was wanting was only available in 5 lug. Maybe someone else can chime in about the front, or you could check out the local salvage yards, and do some scouting to see if the parts would work, either way good luck in your search.
