You might also want to consider a tuner, I had one on my dodge before I upgraded to my chevy. I noticed a difference and if you decide to get a leveling kit and put bigger tires on it, you can adjust the tire size on the computer to fix your spedo.

My first mod was a K&N Cold Air Intake. Noticable difference, made the truck sound more aggressive (until I got my exhaust).

You asked about 35's. You would need a lift.

Yeah you won't clear 35's with just a leveling kit but you could probably clear 33's with a little trimming. I think the most appealing mod is leveling kit with wheels and tires but thats not very cheap! But makes a truck!
