    Default Programer? Chip? Fuel economy

I have a 07 silverado 1500 4 door. I dont care about horsepower or towing power I just would like to get a few more mpg. What is the best programer or chip out there for fuel economy? Thanks

I don't know what the other programers stats are, But I can tell you about mine. I have a JET power programmer, I had it on my 02 extended cab silverado (2 wheel drive, 5.3L) and had a mpg gain of about 30%. I was able to get about 25mpg doing 70mph. When I bought my 03 yukon xl I took it off the silverado and installed it on the new(er) truck. It is 4x4 (5.3L). I gained about 16%mpg. It went from about 16mpg to just over 19mpg at 70mph. Only thing else I know about the JET is that it has a flash memory (like a thumb drive) So you don't have to worry about losing your stock program because a internal battery dies. I had a friend with a bullydog programer on his diesel, he left the programer in his back seat all winter, the internal battery died and he lost his stock program.
