Definitely paint it blue, but do like the hood2002 Chevy Silverado & 1995 Ford Bronco

I think it would look sick black IF your truck was not two tone. As your truck is two tone, color matching the blue would look best in my opinion. That's an awesome hood too, by the way! Nice choice.

Anyway paint it to match the truck....Maybe some strips down the center like an SS08 Z71 Avalanche Mods to date: K&N CAI,Hellwig Swaybars and End Links, Corsa Sport Exhaust, Superchips Programer,IPCW LOF & 3rd brake light and tails, AMI Gas door,Show Hooks and Door locks, Enkei Wheels, with Pirelli tires, StreetScene Bowties, Grant Steering wheel,Muth signal mirrors,SSBC Big Brake kit,Huskyliner Mug gards,Floor mats and Hood shield, McGard Lug nuts and locks, Bedrug, Cervini's Ram Air hood,35watt HID Fog lights, Sylvania bulbs all around ZXE's Highs and Lows, WhiteNight Back up lights,Sirius and HD Radio, SnugTop sitting on deck now Got a Softopper on now,Tempress Boat Hatches.... Paint match it. If it were me I'd do it two-tone to match the truck, using blue everywhere on the hood except the angled parts where it rises up to form the higher, center section -- on those angles I'd use paint-matched silver. But that's me...

That is a sweet hood. I would paint it all blue. If it was a solid color I would say leave some of it black.

Thanks guys. I love the two tone look, but the black hood just does not fit. I was going to get the vents in the back (the swiss cheese vents) painted silver. I have 5.3L Vortec logos that will go on the main raise of the hood so I feel ill get it painted straight (matching) blue.
