Default Converting Daylight Running Lights to brighter LEDs

When I first joined the GMTC there was a thread about how a guy converted his DRLs to LED and I think he put a resistor in the line to lower the voltage as I remember the voltage for the 4114 was too high and would burn them out shortly. I have done searches for this but can't find it.

Does anyone know how to do this. I want to convert 2007 Classic GMC 2500HD to LED.

No, it showed the assembly opened and how the resistors were put in circuits with pictures. Mine has 4114 bulbs and I have checked four sources and no one has a regulator circuit built in to handle the higher voltage. One source told me he has sold several sets and they did not last long because of the higher voltage. That was going to be a 30.00 experiment that he said failed in a week when they were put in GM products.

What is v-LED's track record, I have never heard of them, but I might do that also. I changed my flash module and those "look to good to be true" lol
