    Default old man winter

Today was an interesting day. I expected the rain, but I was shocked when the rain turned to snow mid afternoon. Didn't get much, of course, and none of it stuck to the roads because they are too warm, but enough accumulated to almost cover the grass. My daughter made a snowman. I'm not a climatologist, but it seems a little early for the first snowfall around here.

    Winter's coming!!!

Jamie you really ain‘t right. .

Now I got to admit that Jamie and I are from the snow belt so we are used to things like what happened to you, but it does tend to wear on the nerves when we get it so early.

Mainly because we have snow well into March and even later in the year sometimes.

About that time SNOW become a four letter word.

Well, I lived in Spokane, WA for 7 years of my upbringing, so I've done the snow thing. Living in Seattle I could just hop up into the mountains during the winter to get my view of the cold white stuff.

Not so down here in Texas. I think we've had 10-15 snow days in the last 8 years that I've been here. lol. Not exactly a winter wonderland.
