    Default Power Windows

    Hey guys.

My wife's uncle wants to add power windows to his 06 Sierra. Has anyone done a power window upgrade? If so, what kit did yall use. Where did yall get it from? I'll most likely be doing the install myself. I just want to get him a good, reliable product.

    Thanks for any replies.

Your local auto body places should be able to get some and install for you

Thanks bush. I'm going to really look into them this weekend. It's for my uncle, not for me, so I haven't had a lot of time to look into it.

No problem! Good luck! I've never done that switch so I don't know much about it personally.

I've been looking on eBay at the aftermarket systems. It's too much of a hassle and too much money to try and get all oem components and put them together.

How did it turn out when the shop put in aftermarket ones? Work just like stock? How'd they do the switches?

    I used this kit.

Mounted the switches on the door panel, over the old hole for the crank handle. Factory Chevy windows seem to roll a little faster, but still far better than a manual crank.

The aftermarket one I have powers the manual crank and I still can use the crank as backup if a motor goes out
