Starting Problem-06 Chevy 4.3
Hey guys, I have a 2006 chevy pickup with the 4.3 v6, my problem is when the truck sits for 10 hrs. or so it hard to start.
The motor will spin and spin till finally it starts. It runs fine after its started. I can start and stop all day long after that without any issues.
But after overnite in the driveway, I get in and its hard to start again.
I put a fuel pressure gauge on it, and I have62lbs..codes I am getting are...PO442, PO449, PO455
The odd thing is, it started doing this about a year ago for a couple of weeks, then started working fine. Now a year later and problem is back.
This model does not have a inline filter, but does have a return line to the tank. Fuel pump is still the original.
At wits end, any help please?

PO442 (and the others) can be from:
1. Defective or loose fuel cap
2. EVAP canister or hose cracked- not connected
3. Purge or vent solenoid defective
4. Vaccum leak at engine
You don't mention your location, but it is getting cold up here in NH this time of year. The cold weather might cause some contraction to cause a leak in some hose, etc.
