Need Help with 96 Silverado Exhaust
So I just bought a 96 Silverado... it has true duals, two cats to two pipes that run next to each other along the passenger side of the driveshaft, all the way back to a tip on each side. It's too loud, was wanting to add mufflers but obviously space is an issue. Was thinking the only option was to do two round-case mufflers - cut and add them in where there is room next to the driveshaft. Anyone ever do this? I was thinking if I used like two 14" long round-case mufflers then it would quiet it down somewhat.
Something kind of like this...
What ya think, would that work... I can provide a picture of my current setup if that will help anyone in giving me some advice.
