Nooooooooooop not orange roughy. It is on the decline like sea bass and you aren't supposed buy or eat.
But I wish I coulda shared. Orange roughy is rarely sod in these parts. It is one of my favorites but it seems it has been over fished.
Dang cops always eat good. And what kinda donut did you have with your coffee officer?

    Actually, not its not anymore..
Not all Orange Roughy fishery zones have had a decrease in retained catch. There is no indication of decline in all zones all over the world..
Orange Roughy's biological characteristics, late maturity and low recruitment relative to stock size, rebuilding rates of Orange Roughy populations will be slow, but they are not extinst or endangered for decline in populations all over the world. New Zealand and places around there have the highest population and largest in the world..
Sorry Coach, your talking to an ex-wildlife/conservation/fisheries Officer...
But I love Orange Roughy, I have it once a year.. and I HATE COFFEE (gives me migraines) and my favorite donut is Canadian Maple from Tim Hortons..
