Default Finally 2 tone bowties done

This was an easy project but I made a few mistakes so it took longer than it should. Main problem was using cheap paint for a base coat. But I have recovered & am happy with the results. My old bowties just had a red sticker over them & I wanted something different than just blacked out or solid red, so I took the idea from the red outline bowtie decals I have on the doors. Like the mid ninties (I think) Camaro SS Anyway all this talk is useless without pictures. Next step is getting a wt black grille & painting it, I had a bad time painting chrome lol.

That's sharp! It's also funny to me, since the GMC logo is always red on something (black up front, silver in the back, usually) and I wanted my two-tone GMC logo to be one colour. I suppose the grass is always greener, eh?

Thanks everyone. Surrealone It is strange, I mean I say that stock wheels look good when they are not on the stock vehicle lol like my 06 Z71 NBS wheels on the 07 NNBS.

The front bowtie I had to remove that huge radiator cover on top the rivets are 2 pc I used a small flathead screwdriver poped the center then the rest just come out, I only broke one out of the 8 lol. The behind the bowtie I used a small mirror & the small screwdriver. There is a clip looks like brackets [ ] one the bowtie & they have small tabs on the outside of them -[ ]- I used the flathead screwdriver to push the tab in then did the other side & the emblem pops out & when done it just snaps in. You can probably do it without removing the radiator cover but theres alot more room. The tailgate bowtie. I used fishing line, heat gun & goo gone. & some strips of 3M double sided tape to reinstall. Hope that helped.
