    Default 1988 chevy c1500 2wd 1/2 pickup

I just bought a 1988 chevy c1500 and am in the process of putting a new heater blower motor in it because it did not have one. my question is where do i hook the ground wire to because i dont see anywhere to put it. Also after getting into the truck i noticed that the heater box was busted all to heck can i get one of these from a junk yard. thanks

Yes, you should be able to aquire one from a salvage yard. You may have to check more than one, depending on how large of an inventory of trucks they may have, and if yours is with/without a/c.
As far as the motor ground, not sure I can help you much with that one. There either should be a ground wire in the harness that connects to the motor, or you may have to make a pigtail(jumper wire) to connect the metal motor housing to the metal frame of the cab.

when you replace the blower motor the last one would have a tab that one of the mounting screws goes through. you will need to acquire this as well at a junk yard since you said yours didnt even have a blower motor.
