Change Engine Oil Message on Dash in 2000 Silverado 5.3
Since I do my own oil changes and they are that easy in the silverado's; I noticed that in that little message center thing on the left side of the speedometer, it always says "Change Engine Oil" ever since I owned the truck and it only had 200 miles when I got it.
Its not something that shows up on my OBDII scanner, but it always flashes on the message center when I start the truck.
Is there a way to get rid of that message or reset it?

Turn the ignition key to the run position (don't start it) and pump the gas pedal 3 times.
